Ethanol for Biofuel
At HKMPL, our state-of-the-art facility produces 200 KLPD of ethanol, driving India’s transition to cleaner energy. As a renewable biofuel, our ethanol supports sustainable mobility, reduces carbon emissions, and enhances energy security.

Ambey Metallics Pvt. Ltd. – first Sponge Iron plant in Goa is set up by Sandeep Agarwal in a joint Venture.

Sandeep Agarwal acquires Mandovi Castings Pvt. Ltd. – another Induction furnace.
2006
Sandeep Agarwal establishes HKMPL and sets up India’s first Sponge Iron Manufacturing with pre-heater.

12MW Power plant in HKMPL with WHRB.

HKMPL diversifies into renewable energy and set up solar power plant for SKS Hospital India Pvt. Ltd.

HKMPL sells its Sponge Iron and Power plant Facility in Koppal and diversifies into new ventures. HKMPL x Greenative Petrochem to produce grain based Ethanol of 200 KLPD. HKMPL acquires Bauxite mining lease in Ratnagiri District with capacity of 0.22 Million Tonnes a year.

Sandeep Agarwal

Mr. Sandeep Agarwal, a 48-year-old commerce graduate from Goa, entered the family business at the age of 20. He played a key role in establishing Mohit Steel Industries Pvt. Ltd. and co-founded Goa’s first sponge iron plant, Ambey Metallics Ltd., which became highly successful.
